The ones who really rule the roost
Maggie works hard on her sleeping skill. Her skill is almost as developed as Tori's...
I know you can fix the eyes with photo shop, but this reflects a little of Maggie's personality too!
This is a perfect example of Tori's favorite pastime, and her most well-developed skill.
Tori doesn't really understand sharing quite yet. We've been working on it... this is John's lesson for the day with Tori (from Tori?). You can sort of see that Tori is actually letting John sit on her - rather than give up any of her couch!
This is the latest diversion we've discovered for Maggie while we try to play Scrabble: Build a nest out of an old soft comforter - works every time!
A pretty neat pic John took of the Princess. Doesn't she look pensive and centered? (She's probably thinking about food)
A very rare moment of calm closeness - almost bordering on affection! We're not sure what happened to cause this, but John managed to get the camera before the 60 seconds of peculiar calm ended abruptly.
Tori - the Starlet, as John called her when she was mugging repeatedly for the camera.
Ok - she's definitely not calm, but I had her in an iron-tight grip so she didn't have a choice but to be still. (Until she started kicking and scratching)
Ok, this is dangerously close to sleeping, of course - but she is actually awake. And yes, she is actually reading the dictionary. Tori is always interested in bettering herself. (And in sleeping)
Here's Maggie in front of one of her favorite spots for destruction and dastardly doings - she's fond of jumping up where the wedding photos are. She seems to be plotting along with Barbara (the manatee) in this photo. Caught in the act!
Here she is, the Queen of Selective Hearing. The non-look is very definitely calculated to say "I can't hear you, I'm not listening, I'm not going to look at you." The ear pointing directly at me was a bit of a give away.
Here's a lovely little formal portrait sketch we had commissioned of Tori (by the MacBook).
