The main reading room of the Library does, indeed, have a young female Cooper's Hawk living there for the time being! The pictures here are from the blog linked above, and there are raptor specialists working on safely capturing her for any care she might need and wild release. I like to think maybe she's just a young lady excited about our government and wanting to learn a bit more. And oh how I wish I were a hawk...
