  • Outside the Gardens
    For my 39th birthday celebration in 2010, we visited the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, MI. This was my request - specifically so we could see the Dale Chihuly glass sculpture installation there. "Breathtaking" is an extreme understatement of the experience. What a fabulous day!

Olive, the Pirate Cow of Prune Ridge!

How on earth did I neglect to post a picture of Olive in her Halloween costume here?!?  Ok, yes, I've had a few things going on... but that's hardly an acceptable excuse.  Here you go.  She makes a pretty fantastic Pirate Cow, don't you think? 

"Mooooooooo Arrrrrrrrrr, Matey!"
