This is just about what I got to observe this morning while driving south at sunrise. The photo is borrowed from the NASA Night Sky page. I find it nearly impossible to not weep when I encounter something this stunning and surprising in a moment when I least expect it. Awesome!

- For my 39th birthday celebration in 2010, we visited the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, MI. This was my request - specifically so we could see the Dale Chihuly glass sculpture installation there. "Breathtaking" is an extreme understatement of the experience. What a fabulous day!
